globalevents is unconventional in the AV Staging business. Rather than going the traditional route, GEC is setup intentionally to be nimble to keep up with the latest tech while simultaneously keeping costs low. We do that in a number of ways…
THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT
We only get the level of equipment that is needed to do the job properly. Many AV rental businesses purchase equipment that work for their average client event. Sometimes, that results in getting a projector or sound system that is not ideal for your application. We don't do that. The only equipment we actually own are universally used on events such as computers, switchers and streaming devices. In those cases where specific equipment is the right choice for your event, we'll rent instead of buying. That save us (and you) money.
LOWER PERSONNEL COSTS
In addition to keeping equipment costs low, we also keep our personnel costs low as well. GEC doesn't have employees in the traditional sense. We use vetted, trusted independent contractors. For you, that means you aren't paying for labor for days when we don't have any production going on; you only pay for the work you are getting and nothing more. It also means that when budgets allow, we've got access to the best of the best people for the crew.
